Meet the Team

Chartered Surveyor & Agricultural Valuer

Sheamus Machin FRICS FAAV

With over 35 years' experience, Sheamus has built a trusted reputation for delivering expert advice to farmers, landowners, and public bodies. After qualifying in Leicestershire, he joined Devon County Council as an Assistant Land Agent, later becoming Principal Land Agent. In 2004, he founded the firm from scratch, steadily growing it into a respected rural consultancy.

Outside of work, the winter is taken up with a bit of shooting (which he tries to convince his wife is ‘networking’), and in the summer he uses the same excuse to watch Somerset play cricket. In between he runs a smallholding with his wife Sarah and their two sons which includes a menagerie of poultry, a few pigs and some fat Hereford cows.
